He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Harlow and Grace Auburn Higley (Leland); his daughter Lola Velma; and his siblings, Charles Higley, Lola Dexter and Vera Adcock.
He is survived by: his wife Flora Helen Knowles; his children, Cathy Higley of Cummings, KS and Kent Rosdahl of Topeka, KS; and his grandchildren, Candice Jenkins (Ed), Tara Wilburn (Charles), Travis Higley (Kelsey), Luke Rosdahl (Angel) and Adam Rosdahl (Melissa). He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
