He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Halstead and Garoldean Halstead (Carpenter). He is survived by: his children, Chris Halstead, Angela Hale (Chris) of Savannah, MO and Crystal Mahoney (Rick) of Atchison, KS; and his siblings, Charles Halstead of Topeka, KS, Ann Watters of Topeka, KS and Janet Russell. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
