He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Schrader and Esther Schrader (Wright); his brother Charles Schrader; and his sister-in-law Grace Schrader. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Werner; his nieces and nephews, Phyllis Schrader of Atchison, KS, Deanne Olson, Chuck Schrader of Goddard, KS and Phil Schrader; and his children, Ann Young of Cummings, KS, Shelly Hight and Robert Werner of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Atchison Lions Club or Trinity Lutheran School Grant Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
