He was predeceased by: his parents, George Madden and Angela Madden (Blocker); his children, John and Tammy Madden; and his siblings, Paul Madden, Helen Hagen and Lois Sage.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sanger; his children, Paul Madden of Topeka, KS and Christina Madden-Hill (Rick) of Wamego, KS; and his siblings, Jim Madden (Nancy) of Atchison, KS, Mike Madden (Karen), Ralph Madden (Rita), Louis Madden (Nonna), Bill Madden, Henry Madden (Kathie), Jerry Madden, Frances Robinson of Atchison, KS, Irene Madden and Mary Kimmi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
