It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Marie Beien of Cummings, Kansas, born in Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Shockley and Gladys Shockley (Clements); her husband Sylvester J. Beien; and her brother Rev. Robert Shockley. She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Charles Wilson), Nick (Patti Beien) and Ern (Cindy Beien); and her sister Dorothy Heffelfinger of Mclean, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Alpha Christian Children's Home, Perry, KS, and may sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements.
