He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Trompeter and Helen Trompeter (McCourt); his brother Gary Trompeter; and his nephew Joe Trompeter. He is survived by: his siblings, Ed Trompeter (Debbie) of Atchison, KS, Tom Trompeter (Sheyda) of Overland Park, KS, Dave Trompeter of Gardner, KS, Mark Trompeter (Michele) of Lawrence, KS, Stephen Trompeter (Julie) of Kansas City, MO, Kenny Trompeter (Sandy) of Atchison, KS., Joanne Trompeter (Joy) of Lenexa, KS and Nancy Kravitz (Daryl) of Shawnee, KS. He is also survived by his family as everyone in his big family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home (800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS 66002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (801 Spring Garden St, Atchison, KS 66002).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Benedict's School Endowment or St. Patrick's Cemetery and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
