He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Swanson and Inez Swanson (Gabrielson); his son Chris; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Clark, Emery Hobelman, Ray Clark and Lewis Topliff.
He is survived by: his children, Duane and Brad; his wife Mary Lou Swanson; his children, Dennis (Linda, Duane, Brad), Craig (Alice, Woodburn, Oregon) and Lucinda Frerichs (Lowell, Liberal, Kansas); his grandchildren, Amy, Shannon Sampson of Moreauville, LA, Lori, Ryan Carlgren, Kevin Swanson, Marci, Jace Allen, Bre, Jonathon Forsythe, Justin Swanson, Adam, Danielle Swanson, Meghan Swanson, Carly Swanson (Logan Singular) and Ethan Frerichs; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Hobelman and Minnie Topliff.
