She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Bass and Margaret Thimes Bass; her husband Jimmy Hewitt; her son John Hewitt; and her siblings, Bob Bass and Elaine Casper.
She is survived by: her children, Mary and James; her sister Jeanette Borgs; her daughter-in-law Carol Hewitt; and her brothers, Tom and Dan Bass. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
