He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus H. Zerbe and Virgina E. McLaughlin; and his brother Curtis Zerbe. He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley J. Gehrke; his wife Mary Vliet; his sons, Steven Zerbe (Claire) of Council Grove and Mark Zerbe (Lori) of Sedgwick; his grandchildren, Jamie Cunningham (Loren) of Lenexa, Lisa Zerbe of Ozawkie, Ryan Zerbe of Maize and Alex Zerbe (Allison) of Ozawkie; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Zerbe of Eskridge. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
