He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald D. Dierking and Erma J. Dierking (Speer); his grandsons, Korby Effland (Mary), Kelly Effland (Callie), Kaleb Effland (Erica), Cole Dierking (Lacy) and Connor Dierking; and his great grandchildren, Ian, Nolan, Sheldon, Norah, Ensley, Quinn, Erin, Pierce and Piper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made locally to the Caldwell Historical Society and sent in care of Schaeffer Mortuary, 6 N. Main, Caldwell, KS 67022.
