It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eunice Hunter of Council Grove, Kansas, born in Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Dean and Ruth Ann Bretz (Berger); her husband Calvin Carl Hunter; and her siblings, Darlene, Donna and Dean.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christy, Carla Pruitt (Don) of Victoria, KS, Kathy Litke (Darrell) of Council Grove and Christine Ziegenhirt (Donnie) of Council Grove; her grandchildren, Alycia Straight (Dane), Amanda Pruitt, Dara Fillmore (Jason), Dana Reddick (Bobby), Deanna Buttrey (Thomas), Dawn Palmquist (Lucas), Derek Ziegenhirt, Jacob Ziegenhirt and Casey Cowdin (Troy); and her sister-in-law Shirley Hickman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
