She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorin Henry and Pauline Martel Bowman (Thomas); her brother William "Bill" Bowman; her son-in-law Dean Forsberg; and her grandchildren, Sierra Dawn and Chad Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Allen; her son Charles R. Downes (Cheryl) of Council Grove; her grandchild Ashleigh Dooley (Steven); her daughter Cindy Jones (Lane) of Burlington, KS; her grandchildren, Trenton Ditto (Haley) of Lenexa, KS, Brock Ditto (Sara) of New Strawn, KS, Tiah Ditto of Emporia, KS, Sara Bucar (Nate), Lance and Jordan Jones of Lawrence, KS; her son Dale Thomas (Jeanine) of Belvidere, KS; her grandson Jesse Thomas (Jenn); her children, Charlie Thomas (Nancy) of Garfield, KS and Nanette Forsberg of Burdick, KS; her granddaughter Sabrina Dunkin (David Sliger); her son Rex Thomas; her grandchildren, Danielle Scott and Bret; her sister-in-law Barbara Bowman of Council Grove; her uncle Byron Dale; and her aunt Carma Thomas of Estes Park, CO. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
