He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Blount and Leona Blount (Potter); and his siblings, Tommy, George, Bobby, Viola, Frankie, Jean, Virgilene, Shirley, Dorothy, Jake, Anna Lee and Marlene.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Branch; his children, Tena Blount and Charlie Blount; his grandsons, Dakota Blount (Kortney) of Cottonwood Falls and Clay Blount of Cottonwood Falls; his brother Jim Blount; and his pet Badger.
