He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois June and William Joel Cooper; and his close friend Gene Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Jean Phipps; his daughters, Lisa Armstrong (Greg) of Argyle, TX and Julie Lockmiller (Marcus) of Elmdale; his grandchildren, CeCe Lockmiller, Zach, Nolan Armstrong and Craig; his brother David Cooper of Bazaar; his half-brother Brian Cooper of Topeka; and his stepsister Jane Johnson of Emporia.
