With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Teresa Mata (Copeland, Kansas), born in Sinton, Texas, who passed away on March 2, 2018 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Montemayor and Petra Montemayor (Zamarripas); and her granddaughter Chloe Berry. She is survived by: her husband Trinidad of Copeland; her children, Trinidad Mata, Jr. of Copeland, Juanita Mata of Copeland, Freddy Mata (Brandy) of Sublette, Breanna Mata of Copeland, Lori Giesick (Kale) of Okene, Jamie Berry (Brian) of Garden City, Jason Mata (Krista) of Dodge City and Curtis Mata (Amanda) of Pratt; and her siblings, Jose of Sublette, Santos of Sublette, Chris of Sublette, Gloria Garcia of Houston, Rafaella Mata, Mary Montemayor, Alicia Escobar of Sublette and Irma Cruz of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
