It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Art Nelson of Copeland, Kansas, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadel Nelson (Myers) and Monta G. Nelson; and his brother Robert "Bob" Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Nelson; his children, Shanon Hayes of Copeland, KS, Natalie Glassco (Scott) of Montezuma, KS, Bart Nelson (Elizabeth) of Springfield, MO and Matt Nelson of Topeka, KS; his grandchildren, Nic, Kylee, Jarod, Madison, MacKenzie, Connor, Cierra and Blake; his great grandchildren, Aurora and Amelia; and his siblings, Norma Vinson of Springfield, MO and Ted Nelson (Pauline) of Pinedale, WY.
