He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer Dotson and Ruby Dotson (Champlin); his siblings, Gerald Dotson and Jacqueline Parsons (Jackie); and his siblings-in-law, Tom Cady, Gary Parsons, Royal Heemeier and Joann Dotson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donald (MaryEllen) of Wichita, KS, Sharon Heemeier of Tucson, AZ, Beverly Cady of Northfield, MN, Prudy Rugg (Sam) of Waco, NE, Charyl Olander (Dan) of Rogers, AR and Marsha Knarr (Carl) of Jewell, KS. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the William Dotson Memorial Fund to be designated towards a bench for the Concordia High School Track in care of the funeral home.
