With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Bachand of Concordia, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Rudolph and Josephine Martina Wiesner (Pfeifer); her siblings, Ellen Wiesner, Ruth Hillman and Gregory Wiesner; and her father-in-law Raymond Bachand.
She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Bachand; her daughters, Nicci Noyce (David) of Overland Park, KS and Crissi Roberts (Tony) of Rogers, AR; her grandchildren, Sawyer, Signe Noyce, Jensen and Boden Roberts; her siblings, Robert Wiesner (Dawn) of Dallas, TX, Jerry Wiesner (Joan) of Concordia, KS, Brian Wiesner (Linda) of Concordia, KS and Annie Bergmann (Dennis) of Concordia, KS; her siblings-in-law, Kim Wiesner of Concordia, KS, Michael Hillman of Clyde, KS, Gary Bachand (Debbie) of Clyde, KS, James Bachand (Alice) of Clyde, KS and Joan Wiesner (Jerry) of Concordia, KS; and her mother-in-law Eleanor Bachand of Clyde, KS.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home (325 W 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (307 E 5th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Concordia Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Cloud County Foundation for Healthcare, Inc. or St. Concordia Cemetery Fund in care of the funeral home.
