He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joyner and Ione Joyner (Burch); his wife Rae Jean Joyner; his grandsons, Edward L. Mildfeldt, Eric Scott Mildfeldt and Dalton Jo Joyner; his son-in-law Wayne (Key); and his siblings-in-law, Jack Paulsen, Chuch Robbins, Willie Delashmit and Rose Baird.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Mildfeldt (Karen) of Springfield, MO, James Joyner, Sr. (Angie) of Concordia, KS, Jeremy Mildfeldt (Nickie) of Concordia, KS and Rebecca Key of Concordia, KS; his sister Bobbie Paulsen of Glasco, KS; and his siblings-in-law, LaDonna Delashmit of Belgrade, MO, Tressie Robbins of Concordia, KS, Paul Tatum (Paula) of Concordia, KS, David "Bo" Tatum (Martha) of Salina, KS, Marty Tatum, Rockford and Ill. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Cloud County Health Center or the Concordia Raceway in care of the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
