He was predeceased by: his parents, Chrest F. Nelson and Lucy Nelson (Nelson); and his wife Gretchen. He is survived by: his children, Marlan Nelson (Shari), Dennis Nelson (Mary), Dwight Nelson (Sandi) and Karen Stoneburgh; his grandchildren, Matthew Nelson (Kaley), Jennifer Gentry (Alex), Travis Stoneburgh (Nicole), Brandie Bruce (Nate), Christopher Nelson, Joshua Nelson, Amanda Nelson and Derrick Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Kyler Nelson, Traceyanna and Veronica Nelson.
