She was predeceased by: her parents, George N. Ames and Ruth R. Ames (Bochoven); her husbands, Milton Stensaas and Royal Johnson; her daughter Joan Leslie Stensaas; her grandson Colton Jon Stensaas; her sisters, Eileen Combs and Nina Ames; and her brothers-in-law, Dean Brewer, Lee Combs and Loren Hedstrom.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Stensaas (Tomya) of Norway, Bryan Stensaas (Cheri) of Norway, Mikkel Stensaas (Beth) of Norway and Joe Stensaas (Theresa) of Norway; her stepsons, DuWayne Johnson and Rick Johnson (Diane); and her siblings, Nona Hedstrom of Concordia, Irma Brewer of Concordia, Dean Ames (Fern) and Ron Ames (Marilyn). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren & 26 great grandchildren.
