The memory of Robert E. Baumann of Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Howard and Elise "Doris" Baumann, II (Rohmann); his wife Betsy; and his brother Harry Baumann. He is survived by: his children, Michael Baumann of Concordia, KS, Scott Baumann (Denise) of Concordia, KS and Dawn Baumann-Payeur (Chad) of Concordia, KS; his grandchildren, Amanda Choitz (Ethan), Carlee Stensaas (Brandon "Woody"), Blane Payeur (Michelle Davis), Jaden Payeur, Blaze Payeur (Mattie Rossi) and Deklyn Stoecklein (Cody); his great grandchildren, Cayden Honts, Reagyn, Rhett Choitz, Addyson, Jaxson, Peyton Stensaas, Hallie Payeur, Denton and Easton Pachta; and his siblings, Stephen Baumann (Chris Newbold), Lance Baumann (Pam) of Gig Harbor, WA, John Baumann of Shelton, WA and Elyse Harrington (Stephen) of Palm Desert, CA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home (325 W 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 310 W 6th St, Concordia, KS 66901. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (444 W 18th St, Concordia, KS 66901).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Bob Baumann Memorial Fund to be used for youth activities in the local area in care of Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, PO Box 606, Concordia, KS 66901.
