She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Hammer and Esther Hammer (Ross); her grandfather Peder Hammer; her husband Leonard Barleen; her friend Jeanne Keazer; her children, Arnold Barleen (Donna), Leland Barleen (Deanna), Karen Smith, Salina, Phyllis Larsen (Fred) and Concordia; her sister Elnora Whitney of Coeur; her sister-in-law Wilma Mikesell of Courtland, KS.; her son Robert; her granddaughter Nicole Barleen; her great grandchild Kyra Voss; her sisters, Evelyn Wagor and Anita Coppage; and her half-brother Clarence Hammer. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild on the way and 1 great great-grandchild on the way, several nieces and nephews.
