She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "John" J. Shaffer and Rebecca Shaffer (Larreau); her former husband Dale Hamilton; her husband L. E. "Doc" Hatton; and her sisters, Barbara Jean Shaffer, Martha Welch, Dorothy Jensen and Marjorie Kirby.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Horkman (Steve), Jeff Hamilton (Judy) of Hutchinson, KS and Joe Hatton (Donna) of Salina, KS; her sister Nancy Fish of Superior, NE; her grandchildren, Jeromy Horkman (Liz), Jenny Horkman, Lacy Holbert (Adam), Jeff Hamilton (Jenny), Jacob Hamilton (Betty), Justin Hatton (Michelle), Rosey Boyles (Brett), Donna Gayle Wasden (Stephen) and Charlie Wasden; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Hunter, Deekon, Ayden, Rowdee, Leighton, Holden, Knox, Sophie, Roselynn and Finnegan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
