He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Lawton and Luzena Lawton; his wife Joan; his children, Janet Ripple (Larry) and Dr. Steven K Lawton (Shari); and his grandchildren, Greg Hammond, Eric Hammond, Amanda Hooten (Lucas), Brittney Becker (Kyle), Corbin Lawton (Robin), Carrigan Lawton and Adley Lawton.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the First United Methodist Church, American Parkinson Disease Association, or American Heart Association in c/o Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
