With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madeline Demars in Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on October 18, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Lester Houghton and Lola Houghton (Bishop); her husband Clarence Dale Demars; her grandson Kelly Huber; and her siblings, Vivian Almon, Audrey Hayden and Charles Houghton.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Demanette (Roger), Pamela Huber (Bob), Linda Begnoche (Gary) and Richard Demars (Mary); and her sisters, Dorothy Sharpe of Clyde, KS and Rosalie Grounds of Concordia, KS. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the St. Peter's Catholic Church, Aurora, Kansas in care of the funeral home.
