She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Trost and Alma L. Trost (Smith); her husband Don V. Gropp; her great grandchild Kohl Gropp; her siblings, Melvin, John, Keith Trost and Ruth Mulsow; and her son-in-law Frank Lucas.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Gropp (Shirley), Donna Strait (Renus), Mary Faulkner (Steve) and Karen Lucas; her siblings, D. D. Trost, Evelyn Woolston of Boone, IA, Willo Harris, Whitefish and Cynthia Ormston; and her grandsons, Lance Gropp, Vince Gropp, Ryan Strait, Joshua Faulkner, Trevor Gassler and Erik Gassler. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
