He was predeceased by: his daughter LeAnn Bridges; his grandson Bryan Runyan; and his siblings, Thomas Eakins, Art Eakins, Adelia Hay Falk and Bessie M. Payton.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Jack Eakins (Wenxia) of Bentonville, AR., Jay Eakins of Bentonville, AR., Cheryl Tira (Tom) and Dawn Steinman (Albert); and also Clyde. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
