She was predeceased by: her parents, Murvin Kibbe and Mildred Kibbe (Clark); her husband Richard Matthew; and her sister Brenda Sue Kibbe. She is survived by: her sister Mary Jo Tubach of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her children, Sally Kay Kennedy of Olathe, Kansas and Mark Richard Matthew (Patricia) of Concordia, Kansas; her granddaughters, Lisa Kennedy of Olathe, Kansas and Lori Lopez (Bryan) of Parkville, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Emily Cloud, Emmett Lopez, Joshua Lopez, Jackson Lopez, Luca DeMartino, Bruce Matthew and Clark Matthew; and her nieces and nephews, Deb Shivers Redburn, Mary Matthew, David Matthew and Pat Tubach.

As the Matthews were a multigenerational florist family, memorial flowers would always be appreciated, but memorial donations to Meadowlark Hospice or the O'Connor Animal Shelter would also be a lovely tribute to Janyce, in care of Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, PO Box 606, Concordia, KS 66901.
