It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irma Brewer of Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ames and Ruth Ames; her husband Dean Brewer; and her siblings, Nina Jean, Geraldine "Gerry", Milton Stensaas, Royal Johnson, Eileen and Combs.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dean and Ron; her son Dana Brewer (Tina); her granddaughter Marie Brummett (Garrett); her daughters, Diane Johnson (Rick) and JoDee Rothfuss (Mark); her granddaughter Sarah Hauber (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Dean and Amelia "Millie"; her grandson Isaac Rothfuss (Samantha) of Smithville, MO; her daughter Sheri Johnson (Kevin); her grandchildren, Joshua Johnson of Overland Park, KS, Ashleigh Johnson, Tulsa and Addison Johnson; her sister Nona Hedstrom; and also, John, Mary Ellen Brewer, Norway, Dean Ames (Fern) of Aurora, CO and Ron Ames (Marilyn). She is also survived by Grandma B to her beloved grandchildren.
Because Irma and Dean were survivors of polio and due to the current pandemic, the family will require masks at a private family burial on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Valley Cemetery, Norway at 2:00 p. m. with Pastor David Redmond officiating.
Memorials are requested, in lieu of flowers.
