Gloria Hamel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Hamel of Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on April 21, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gedion Hebert and Martha C. Hebert (Wheeland); her husband Wilfred "Joe" Hamel; her sons, Lawrence 'Larry' and Jim Hamel; her siblings, Martha 'Jed Ullom, Eileen Brick, Maxine Hager, Lawrence and Bobby Hebert; and her daughter-in-law Lynnette Hamel.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Strait (John), Bob Hamel (Brenda), Osborne and Greg Hamel (Julie); her daughter-in-law Tammy Woelhoff of Marshfield, MO; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Faulkner (Dwight), Brian Strait (Chandra), Elizabeth Hamel, Joanna Thomas (Jake), Jerrica Baum (Steve), Ryan Hamel, Brianna Hamel (Lucas Allen), David Hamel (Cheryl), Amanda Stice (Mike), Karter Steinle, Halie Eck (Logan), Pam Hamel and Kelsey Hamel. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hospice or Mt. Joseph Senior Village Resident Activity Fund in care of the funeral home.
