He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Earl Thompson and Alma Thompson (Istas); his former wife Marjorie Suzanne Regnier; and his son-in-law Dennis Nix. He is survived by: his sisters, Arlene Credeur of New Orleans, LA and Lois Nutter (Concordia); his wife Joan Palmer; his children, David (Joyce), Peggy Sue Nix of Dewey, OK, Paul (Cory) of Thornton, CO, Walter (Rachel) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Rodney (Karen) and Vanessa Thomas (Lawrence); and his stepsons, Vernon (Cathy), Palmer (Miltonvale) and Kevin (Darnell).
Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International or Miltonvale Bible Methodist Church and sent c/o the funeral home.
