He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Genereux and Vivian L. Genereux (Caywood); his former wife Bernita Glenn; and his brother-in-law Cleo Mayer. He is survived by: his wife Marie Hopson of Dardanelle, AR; his children, Bill Genereux (Wendy), Melinda Schowengerdt (Tim), Becky Gomez of Indianapolis, IN, Aaron Genereux (Raven) and Sara LeClair (Travis); his siblings, Audrey Mayer, Charlotte Ralston (Mike) of Lincoln, NE, Larry Genereux (Jane) of Gardendale, TX and Curt Genereux (Heriberta); his sisters-in-law, Barb Genereux and Sharon Elsasser (Vernon) of Touchet, WA; his grandchildren, Hanna Schowengerdt (Andrew Schowengerdt) of Chicago, IL, Lawrence, Emily Genereux, Thomas Genereux, Clyde, Adam (Brandon Gomez), Owen Genereux, Isaac, Ben (Hadley Genereux), Seth LeClair, El Dorado, Noah and Ryan (Luke LeClair); and his stepchildren, James Brown, Jr. (Leanna), Elizabeth Surprenant (Paul), Robbi Withouse (Josh), Bobby Brown and Liza.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to St. Concordia Cemetery Fund c/o Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
