He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Robert and Anna Arminda Herman (Locke); his sons, Eric Wendell and Kenneth Charles; and his brother Johnny Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Leota Herman; his children, Douglas Herman (Kathryn) of Concordia, KS, Sandra Herman Church (Kenneth) of Leavenworth, KS and Anna Herman Mason (Richard Maeso) of Concordia, KS; his grandchildren, Jenny Herman Sullivan (Shawn) of Topeka, KS and Alissa Herman Smith (Benjamin) of Olathe, KS; his great grandchildren, Drew, Grace, Brooke and Claire Sullivan; his grandchildren, Gavin, Ella, Liam Smith, Emma, Abby, Anders, Ezra Herman, Faith, Easton Quave, Brianna, Kyren, Taegan, Raegan, Rylee, Treysen, Tyus, Tobin Herman, Isaac Lane, Hazel Herman, Evelyn and Landry Herman; and his siblings, Roberta Wirth of Lincoln, KS, Carol Gabelmann (Jackson) of Bulverde, TX and Richard Herman (Sharon) of Salina, KS. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family suggests memorials to The Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
