She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Vollan and Frances Vollan (Nelson); her sisters, Phyllis Guiot and Iona Goodwin; and her stepmother Ruth Sallman.

She is survived by: her husband Leo Hoober; and her children, Brian Hoober of Concordia, KS and Amy Hoober of Colorado Springs.
