She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Peter Lies; her parents, Wilfred Hermes and Rita Hermes; and her siblings, Jean Schoenecker, Alvin and Kenneth Hermes.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Lies (Teresa) of Kechi, Chuck Lies (Sharon) of Douglass, Gary Lies (Laura) of Choctaw, OK, Dana Darbyshire (Carey) of Wichita and Lisa Howard (Todd) of Wichita; and her sister Kathy Zwetzig of Bay City, MI.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
