He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Bulla and Ruth Bulla (Delehoy); his son Vance Bulla; and his siblings, Bill Bulla, Robert Bulla and Jackie Perez (Bulla).
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Bulla (Bethany) of Valley Center, KS, Jared Hill (Lacy) of Bentley, KS, Justin Hill (Donetta) of Emporia, KS and Kerry Walters (Cody) of Dodge City, KS; and his fiancée Evelyn Hunt of Augusta, KS.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Wichita Police Benefit Fund or Kansas Concerns of Police Survivors.
