He was predeceased by: his children, James Delbert, Jr, Edward John, Eric Eugene and Patricia Ann. He is survived by: his wife Mary Schock; his children, Dennis Meredith (Jennifer), David Schock (Dawn) and Debbie Knoblauch (Marty); his brother Charles Meredith; his grandchildren, Cynthia Cotham (Cole), Emily (Milton Pineda), Austin Vredenburg, Tanner Knoblauch, Kammi, Danni, Maggi, Jesse, Jemma Schock, Logan Hughes and Rylee Dale McAfee (Kody Heuertz); and his great grandchildren, Ella, Erica and Zayley. He is also survived by other great-grandchildren.
