He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Holding and Mary Theresa Holding; and his siblings, Paul, Norma Jean Kozisek and Kathy Clark.

He is survived by: his wife Joni; his children, Lonna Grewing (Clay) of Kincaid, KS, Anthony Holding of Iola, KS and Amanda Diver (Clint) of Wakeeney, KS; and his brothers, Jim Holding of El Dorado, KS, Mark Holding of Wichita, KS and Don Holding (Kay) of Joplin, MO. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Sedgwick County Humane Society.
