It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd E. Bateson of Colwich, Kansas, born in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irven Bateson and Pauline Bateson (Kimberling) of Colwich, Kansas.; and his brother Vernon Bateson (Kathleen). He is survived by: his wife Joy Ann Bateson (Treat); his daughters, Connie (Randy Kelly) and Cindy Bateson; his granddaughters, Sarah Bateson and Lacey (Shawn Loveall); and his great grandchild Chloey Ann.

A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and West Side UMC.
