She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Ast and Marie Ast (Hermes); her children, Lucille and James; and her siblings, Kenneth Ast and Marlene Ast.
She is survived by: her daughter Leann Betzen (Paul); her siblings, Colette Van Niman, Jelene Grady, Emanuel Ast (Betty) and Duane Ast; and her grandchildren, Doug Betzen (Amber), Sharon Walker (Jeremy), Craig Betzen (Megan) and Curtis Betzen (Kayla). She is also survived by her 7 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (311 S 5th St, Colwich, KS 67030). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
