It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jean Handshy of Columbus, Kansas, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Huston and Alice Huston (Rombout); and her siblings, Jack Huston and Eva Huston. She is survived by: her husband Carl Lloyd Handshy of Columbus, KS; and her children, Luther Handshy (Margo) of San Diego, CA, Carla Story (Alan) of Blue Springs, MO, Coral Haggard of Neosho, MO, Cara Moore (Allen) of Columbus, KS, Colette Humble (David) of Columbus, KS and Cherie Halda (Fritz) of Spring Hill, KS. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the church of Christ in Columbus, KS.
