He is survived by: his wife Jessica R. Westervelt (Clark); his parents, Paul Westervelt and Marilyn Westervelt of Columbus, KS; his brother Gary Westervelt (Gaisa) of Columbus, KS; his children, Bethany Carter (TJ) of Columbus, Lucas Westervelt (Morgan) of Columbus, KS, Anistyn Schultz and Brody Westervelt; and his grandchildren, Kolt, Nash, Nixon, Carl Burton and Jared Hall. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Columbus FFA in care of the funeral home.
