He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Lindsey and Frances Lindsey; his wife Janice Proctor; his parents-in-law, Otis and Lorena Proctor; his brother-in-law Arnold Proctor; and his son-in-law Tommie Turley.
He is survived by: his daughters, LaDell Lindsey Turley and Janet Lindsey of Columbus, Kansas; his brother Paul "PeeWee" Lindsey; his sisters-in-law, Estela Ozuma of Hugo, Oklahoma and Sharon Proctor of Topeka, Kansas; his nephews, Joel Lindsey (Jeania), Jeff Lindsey (Katy), David Proctor (Rebecca) and Marc Proctor (Karen); and his niece Laura Macuba (Jim).
