He was predeceased by: his parents, John L Kalert Sr and Nida Kalert (Biggs); and his siblings, Ronnie Kalert and Judie Kalert. He is survived by: his spouse Ronnie Jo Heifner; his children, Matthew Kalert of Joplin, MO and Ranie Bryan (Tony); his grandchildren, Devin Kalert, Cameron Bryan, Ethan Bryan, Levi Kalert, Laik Kalert and Lana Larkin; his great grandchildren, Devin, Samantha and Giovanni; and his sister-in-law Rhonda Heifner of Carterville, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus City Library.
