It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard Ray Hale of Columbus, Kansas, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orville Willard and Hazel Iola Hale; his wife Eleanor Jane Owen; his son Tim Hale (Lori) of Bentonville, AR; his former wife Irene Little Stapleton; his stepchildren, Terry Harrell (Sherry) of Altamont, KS and Dr. Teresa Troy (Rick) of Springfield, MO; his brothers, Don Hale (Imojune) of Afton, OK and Paul Hale (Marilyn) of Coweta, OK; and his grandchildren, Tyler Harrell, Kelsey Hanigan, Erin Holder, Lauren Troy, Jacob and Benjamin Troy.
In respect to social distancing guidelines at this time, the family requests that there be no hugging; but they do look forward to hugs later on, when it is safe to do so. --------------------------------------------- Eulogy from Tim, Ray's son: I was never one to say anything at a funeral.
