Henrietta York Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henrietta York of Columbus, Kansas, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry E Chancellor and Mary Emma Chancellor-Mack (Jackson); her spouse W. L. "Junior" York; her son Kenneth York; and her son-in-law Keith Westervelt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbie Westervelt of Cherokee, KS, Connie Taft (Jack) and Pamela Evitts; and her daughter-in-law Lois Hummert-York of Cuba, MO. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mirza Shrine transportation fund in care of the funeral home.
