He is survived by: his mother Flossie Miller (Robinson) of Arthur; his wife Dayna Thomas; his children, Donnie Miller (Iris) of Tuscola, Joshua Major of Austin, Kelley Self (Danny) of Prattsville and Autumn Rogers of Columbus; his siblings, Kevin Risley of Effingham, Pam Chumley of Lake City, Rosemary Cartwright (Ed) of Sullivan and Debbie Stutzman (Merle) of Arthur; his grandchildren, Matthew, James, Jesse, Chloe, Cohen, Calissa and Blake; and his great grandchild Raelynn.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to be sent to the American Cancer Society.
