He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl L. Handshy, Sr. and Pearl Olive Handshy (Parsons); and his wife Wilma Jean Huston. He is survived by: his children, Luther Handshy (Margo) of San Diego, CA, Carla Story (Allen) of Blue Springs, MO, Coral Haggard of Neosho, MO, Cara Moore (Allen) of Columbus, KS, Colette Humble (David) of Columbus, KS and Cherie Halda (Fritz) of Spring Hill, KS; and his siblings, Albert Ray Handshy of Parsons, KS, Jesse Handshy of Columbus, Mary Parker of Pinehurst, TX, Carolyn Crain of Columbus and Alice Delmont of Columbus. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
