She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Ballou and Goldie Ballou (McBrien); her husband David Gene Ellison; her siblings, Alvin Ballou and Vivian Spencer; and her stepmother Clara Sturdy.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Ellison (Amy Higgins) of Scammon, KS, Eve Poznich (Chuck) of Miami, OK, Cindy Patton (Kevin Edwards) of Columbus, KS and Sherry Ellison of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Angela Black, Brandon Ellison, Patty Siemer, Adam Ellison, Aaron Ellison, Jason Poznich, Lindsey Bell, Jared Poznich, Mike Patton, Brian Patton of Randy Patton, JR, Christina Haraughty, Samantha Haraughty and Garrett Ellison. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made payable to either the Shriner's Transportation Fund, or Folds of Honor, in care of the funeral home.
